JLG Straight Boom Lifts San Diego

The 600 Series of articulating booms offered by JLG, feature an optional narrow chassis that would enable access to tight areas. The 600 Series features the best work envelope within the industry; 8.1 m or 26 feet, 7 inches up and over height and a horizontal outreach of 39 feet, 9 inches or 12.12 m. These machines provide dual rated capacities of 1000 pounds and 500 pounds as well. Combined with a 60 foot platform height, these models would offer you with the reach capacity and the power you require regardless of what job has to be done.



To give you excellent drive and performance on rough terrain, these articulating booms are available with optional 4-wheel drive and standard oscillating axles. Providing unmatched agility and tight spaces, are the optional 4-wheel steer and 3-position switch. The platform controls are better and have been redesigned in order to be smoother for job site efficiency and provide more controlled operation.



Raising Safety Standards for Aircraft Maintenance

Ideal for working on any aircraft size, the Model 740AJ provides 22.6 m or 74 feet of height and over 15 m or 51 feet of outreach. It includes numerous safety features which you require when performing maintenance. The Fall Arrest platform can be added so as to enable you to exit the platform and move a complete 270 degrees around the platform in a radius of 6 feet, and still have fall protection whilst doing so.



One more feature option is the Soft Touch System. This lessens the risk of any accidental contact and damage in aircraft maintenance. This package option provides a suspended padded rail which surrounds the platform basket. There are proximity sensors that de-activate platform movement functions and the driver is warned if the basket comes too near the aircraft surface.



Advantages

The articulating jib will enable the operator better access and positioning to all external surfaces on any aircraft. This jib can be used in both controlled and uncontrolled areas thanks to steady winds, jet blast standards of 80 mph and 90 mph gusts. An on-board air compressor option allows the use of pneumatic-powered hand tools. When performing maintenance outside of the platform, the Fall Arrest adds safety.
