Available today, there is a huge array of articulating lifts, with numerous kinds of lifts to fit every circumstance, application and work venue. There are some manufacturers who specify in lifts for hazardous environments including underground tunnel situations, petro-chemical plants, and other venues where there is a danger of dust or explosive gases, for example in grain-processing plants.



Other lifts have been designed specially to mount onto big flatbed trucks or onto trailers or onto the back of a pick up truck. There are models that incorporate articulating booms which can be self-propelled and are controlled by the lift operator, while others have the ability to pivot 360 degrees.



There are lift models designed specially for indoor and outdoor use, and come in 2-wheel and 4-wheel powered models. In several situations, the platforms are adjustable and some types of lifts feature baskets where the worker stands. These baskets or platforms are adjustable and enable the employees to remain level or swing into place, depending upon what the operator needs to finish the job. There are some baskets and platforms which come wired so as to enable the operator to plug tools in as required.

Reconditioning Method

Prior to disassembly, each machinery is carefully checked with all updates and outstanding safety bulletins completed. Additionally, all weldments on the machinery are carefully inspected for defects. These areas are thoroughly prepped before the painting process.
