End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance features which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation settings that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an ideal alternative for applications which need regular on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading device utilized by a variety of companies which maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also include a hydraulic system that enables the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
