The narrow aisle forklift has been manufactured to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR units which are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various control handle and stance configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.

Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations which meet a range of operations as well as a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.



AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful acceleration and deceleration. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.



Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.



Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.



Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great feature which maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.



Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence greatly reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to decrease operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.



Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height could be over 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are usually rail or wire guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
